Mr.
Barkley focuses a substantial portion of his practice on complex construction,
insurance coverage, commercial, and products liability claims and cases.
In addition, he works closely with his construction industry clients on
contract negotiation and preparation and project management issues for
private and public projects. He has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution and also serves as a mediator.
Mr. Barkley speaks
frequently on construction and insurance coverage issues. He is the past
chair of the Policy Coverage Section and a former Board Member of the
Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys. Mr. Barkley is also a member
of the Board of Governors of the Construction Law and Public Contract
Section of the Virginia State Bar.
